Soy&Synth is a multi-month program of sound and performance centering the practices of diasporic experimental artists in Berlin. It is crafted collectively by extended coalition of @soydivision.berlin @alberlinmusic @blackcommunionberlin & @spaetifunk.berlin
Moving fluidly between music, improvisation, conversation, and ritual, it creates a space for spontaneous collaboration and radical sonic inquiry—gathering artists from Southeast Asian, South American, and African backgrounds.
Since 2018, Soydivision (Berlin’s Indonesian art collective) has nurtured Soy&Synth as a grassroots, community-driven platform. Each edition reimagines sonic experimentation through the prisms of diaspora, migration, and memory—while deepening translocal connections among artists, organizers, and communities.
